Rocky Mount, N.C. - North Carolina Wesleyan scored four times in the second half as the USCAA #4 Johnson & Wales women's soccer team lost 4-0 on the road Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats (9-4) maanged to stay level until the 53rd minute, as Sarah Cook and Cydney Nichols scored within 90 seconds of each other to give the Bishops a quick 2-0 lead.
Goals by Diamond Ridgeway in the 72nd minute and Lauren Seegal in the 87th minute ended any chance of a comeback by Johnson & Wales.
The Bishops held a 25-8 advantage in shots on the afternoon, including a 16-4 advantage in the second half.
The Wildcats will resume play on Thursday when they host Shaw University. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex.
